Funny no one else giving Rinne any love. Ask Chicago fans if the two shutouts he had on the road were any good. Has been a number one goalie for 10 plus years on a consistent playoff team. Steve Mason couldn't carry his pads to practice. |

Klefbom - Larsson
Nurse - Sekera
Russell (ew) - Benning
Pretty solid defense there. I would've figured that an Anaheim fan, with the D-corps that they have (and had Pronger/Niedermayer before), would know a thing or two about good defense. I guess not. |

Crawford, Jones, Dube, Quick (he hasn't regressed that much or possibly not permanently), Talbot
Overall, slim pickings.
Gotta go with CC as the best because he has the skins on the wall and did it in 2015 with only 4 d-men in front of him. |

Maybe a reason is because in my view Rinne was the best goalie in the game 4-5 years ago but his play declined after his hip problems. Last year he turned out to be close to the old Rinne for awhile... But still not what he was a few years ago when the team in front of him wasn't as good.
The comment about a consistent playoff team is a bit of stretch until last season as there wasn't a great deal of playoff success. That said, if I wanted to win one game before Rinne's hip issues came about I would have picked him to be in the net.
On the other hand, in my opinion since 2013 no goalie has been better than Crawford if you factor in regular season and playoffs. |

you probably agree that Pekka Rinne is better than Steve Mason though right? |
